D’alijo Community Retreat – Plant a Tree
TFYTT and D’Alijo have been friends since the opening in 2016. Marcel, Anat and Ehud spent several weeks every year at D’Alijo and we always considered this place as our Portuguese home. Therefore, when D’Alijo asked us if we could help with organising their first community retreat, using our booking system and expertise in organising these kind of events, we were very happy to do so.

We like to invite you for the “Plant a Tree” community retreat at D’Alijo Retreat Center. This rejuvenating and eco-conscious retreat offers a balanced blend of meditation, yoga, and relaxation, all while contributing to an even greener D’alijo.
The retreat center is nestled amidst the stunning natural beauty of North Portugal, making it an ideal location to connect with nature.
The retreat will include guided tree planting sessions, where participants contribute to the reforestation efforts of the local environment. The act of planting a tree serves as a symbol of growth, renewal, and the shared commitment to sustainability and conservation.
Throughout the retreat, participants have ample time for self-reflection, exploration of the retreat center’s serene grounds, and engaging in conversations with like-minded individuals.
Every morning will begin with a tranquil meditation session followed by a yoga class or a tree plant session. During this retreat we will have a free flow format of yoga classes, tree plant session, movie afternoon/night and relax periods depending on the group and the weather conditions.
Meals throughout the retreat emphasize a plant-based, eco-friendly approach to breakfast, lunch and dining.
Rates
The Rates include: three meals a day, daily group meditation session (optional), one yoga class a day, 3 plant a three sessions (a few hours), two movie nights and a guided walk
